You tell us about YOU, upload a few pictures (predetermined poses — you can use a professional photographer), and take the wavelength quiz.
Our team(of real actual human beings) assigns you to a pool of daters most likely to be a match.
Every other week, we have a Date Drop — you receive a date from your pool (assuming a match is available; we do not force it).
You get 48 hours to work out a place and time, and go on the date. Expect to go on actual dates and meet actual people. That is how this works.
Safety is our number one priority. That is why we have strict guidelines for these dates.
We partner with local businesses to provide GUUD Spots — places you can arrange your dates where they will keep an eye out. Mention you are on a GUUD Society date and they will take care of you. If you choose not to use a GUUD Spot, we recommend a public place like a café or coffee shop.
You are allowed to bring someone as a spotter. Keep them in the building — not sitting at the same table. They should not be a third wheel on the date.
Optional day-of help: neon colored rings and NFC bracelets. The bracelets let you check in with your date, verify it’s the right person, and scan right into the app. You can let your date know beforehand to look out for it.
Our review system is designed to remove bad apples and bad behavior. Everything is moderated by our team — real humans, no bots or auto-decisions. We want the community heard, respected, and finding their people.

Let’s talk about the dating industry’s biggest conflict of interest: money.
Traditional dating apps can make money by keeping you searching. Monthly subscriptions, paid boosts, premium features, and endless profiles encourage you to keep paying for the chance to find someone. But what happens when you don’t? You renew, upgrade, and keep looking.
We think the incentives are backwards.
You make one payment to join GUUD Society. No recurring subscription fees. No monthly charges to keep your account active. We don’t want you paying indefinitely for the privilege of continuing to search.
Our goal isn’t to keep you on a dating app forever. It’s to help you find someone worth getting off it for. If you meet your person and never need to look again, that’s a win in our book.
Human-powered matching, curated dating pools, human moderation, and a real community take time and effort. We believe that investment is worth making because dating is about people, not profiles.
We also require verification to help reduce bots and fake accounts and build a community where people can feel more confident about who’s on the other side of the screen.
We know subscriptions are the industry standard. We know we could offer something that looks free, then charge you along the way. But that’s not the kind of business we want to build.
We believe people are better in person, meaningful connections matter more than endless scrolling, and technology should bring people together — not keep them hooked.
TLDR; PEOPLE!
We know everyone is over the same tired takes on the exact same thing. Taking a completely broken system and messing with and tweaking the fringes accomplishes nothing. That is why the secret sauce is people. Not just the people dating, but the people behind the scenes. It’s what makes the app truly authentic.
Members are evaluated by people. Groups, socials, and emails are responded to by people. Flags and reports are dealt with by PEOPLE. That trust means that when you sit across from someone at your date, you know it’s done with intention. There are no bots, fake replies and canned responses.
The date has to be within 30 miles at a maximum from you (and you can set it closer). Nobody likes talking to a robot, so we don’t do that here. We are moving away from the automation and bringing it back to people.
